My roots are in the sweltering heat of Miami-Dade, FL. Raised in a Cuban household, the principles of love and community are at the center of my being. I come from a lineage of artists. We are a collective of actors, painters, seamstresses, dancers and more. My first big stage was in my living room, crafting worlds with drapes and Christmas lights, giving my family their bi weekly entertainment. I begin taking my artistry more seriously when I enrolled at New World School of the Arts where my childlike wonder for performance became more refined. The next big stage I'd perform on was at The Kennedy Center as a Presidential Scholar of the Arts, after being a finalist at the YoungArts National Competition. Traveling up the east coast, I landed in North Carolina at UNC School of the Arts where I began to truly find my artistic point of view. My time there allowed me to experiment with what I wanted to share with the world. New York City became my home after graduating, invigorating me to find my community of Latines, queer people, and collaborators. Most recently, I toured the country with hit musical & Juliet before joining the Broadway company for a stint.
